The Workers Index is a bi-annual analysis of attitudes towards work undertaken by research group Ipsos MORI in conjunction with The Work Foundation. This has found that NHS staff are the most likely to feel uninspired by their managers and to claim that senior bosses have no sense of direction. One in five actively criticise the NHS as an employer.
"These figures suggest the perpetual upheaval in the health service may be eating into the motivation and commitment of staff" says Alexandra Jones, senior researcher at The Work Foundation. |
