Medieval Banquets are another very popular event. We can transform a room with backdrops, hessian covering the walls and low lighting with warm red and orange pin spots. You can even have wooden trestle tables and authentic crockery and cutlery. The menu can be authentic Medieval which is ideal for anyone who dislikes potato as they had not arrived on our shores yet.
Guests should be encouraged to get into the spirit and we can provide full costumes or simple tabards which go over existing clothes. Entertainment can take the form of Medieval games such as Aunt Sally, Archery with Popinjay, roving entertainers and, of course, the Stocks!
There are some excellent venues for this sort of event. Castles, hotels built in Medieval style and many hotels with unusual outbuildings which suit the theme, for example Gothic chapels and huge thatched tythe barns. All in all the Medieval theme is a memorable evening which guests will never forget.
