This event caught our eye as a really original team building or corporate event idea. The day is based at a traditional printworks in Southampton and the team is given a challenge to create a printed work from concept through to production using traditional printing presses. The nature of the end product is endless, it can be work related or pure fun. To really challenge the team they might produce something for another business or link up with a charity to help them with their communications. The minimum group size is 8 and prices start at £140 per person per day including lunch and refreshments.
The printing press caused massive changes in the world, enabling people and organisations to communicate as never before. The parallels with the advent of the Internet have been well documented and this event would be ideal for companies involved in hi-tech or new media to see the world from a different but highly important angle.
