The origins of the Treasure Hunt can be traced back through the ages to the Royal courts. Courtiers had a great deal of time on their hands and used to make up fun and games to keep themselves busy; the Treasure Hunt is one such example.
Treasure Hunts make ideal team building events because they are a self contained task which is more easily completed by a team. The team has a time limit, so participants need to understand what they need to do, make a plan and then execute the plan promptly. The end result is measurable and so the success of their teamwork is evident. A Treasure Hunt can even be facilitated, although typically it is just for fun and the benefits of relaxed social bonding.
Most team building event companies offer a Treasure Hunt. Typically this will include clues, puzzles and photographs which must be taken. Most companies use Polaroid cameras and many make use of GPS units. We can provide basic Treasure Hunts and we can also upgrade the event using costumed characters or running the event to an exciting theme, for example Spies or well known films.
