Venues include dedicated activity venues, farms and hotels with suitable land.
Dedicated Activity Venues
Activities where safety is an issue or which have an environmental impact typically have dedicated venues. Examples are paintball and motorised sports. Some activities, for example hovercraft racing and off road driving, need very specific features and so they tend to be held on dedicated venues.
Farms
Many farmers and landowners have set aside an area of land for activities. These sites tend not to have the features of dedicated venues but they are useful for multi-activity days where a variety of activities are tried by teams in a 'round robin' format. Typically farmers charge between £300 and £500 for field hire.
There is a large market for corporate events for three or four star hotels which chase the conference market offering special rates and discounts. Many have either their own activity in the hotel grounds or they have come to an arrangement with a local farmer. We operate a free venue finding service. We simply need the following information:-
